Some people love to hear xmas songs all the time. Some don't want to hear them at all. Actually we belong to the latter. But we found a way to get through. By making our own xmas videos starting in 2008. We made the 'My 1st Oooh Denneboomboekje' SONGBOOK especially for ukulele and every year we choose one song. Last year we even made our own xmas song and we believe it's a hit! All our versions are based on ukulele with other instruments added. You can easily play along using the Ukulele Play Along website or just go to Youtube to listen and watch! Good luck surviving Christmas 2025!

The video was recorded at Beijzonder Welkom, a small-scale day care center for people with dementia, non-congenital brain damage and lonely elderly people. We have set up a special donation page to raise as much money as possible in conjunction with our Christmas video to support research into Alzheimer's... Because that is very important!

This was our last video in 'Het Goudhoekje'. Recorded during the covid pandemic. We could not invite everybody at once so we came to this solution. The song is based on the classic traditional song, but the lyrics are ours. And it's all about PEOPLE.
